We warmly welcome you to any of our services which usually follow a monthly pattern as detailed below but may vary due to special Festivals. Details are published each month in our monthly magazine "Life Together" which is delivered free to every home in the village.  Latest dates/times are towards the bottom of this page.

1st Sunday

9.30am Family Communion Service

A service, of under one hour, with hymns, bible readings and prayer with an opportunity to receive the bread and wine of communion.

2nd Sunday (unless shown otherwise)

11.00am Friends and Family Service (see dates at bottom of this page)

A family friendly service of 35 – 40 minutes with readings, activities, music and prayer, on a different theme each month.

3rd Sunday

11.00am Family Communion Service

A service, of under one hour, with hymns, bible readings and prayer with an opportunity to receive the bread and wine of communion.

4th Sunday

9.30am Morning Prayer Service

A service of about 45 minutes with hymns, bible readings and prayer.

5th Sunday and special days.   A Group Service is occasionally held in one of our seven churches when all parishes are invited to worship together.  This may be when there is a 5th Sunday in the month or to mark a special Festival or occasion. 

You are very welcome to any of our other churches at Barton Hartshorn, Chetwode, Edgcott, Marsh Gibbon, Preston Bissett and Twyford.

Bears' Club Services

These once a month mid-weeek services are intended for Mums, Dads or Carers who have pre-school children, whether they are new born baby in a pram or nearly ready for school, and would like the opportunity of sharing an informal time of worship.    We share stories from the bible and sing songs (many with actions) together.  We meet at 2.00pm with refreshments afterwards and finish by 3pm.  Next dates for 2011:

• At Marsh Gibbon United Reformed Church on Thursdays: 3rd March, 7th April

• At Grendon Underwood Village Hall on Wednesdays: 16th February, 16th March, 20th April
